Vendor Guidelines

We’re looking forward to hosting you in our space! Our team takes great pride in going above and beyond in the way that we serve our clients.
Mustard Seed Gardens requires all vendors to follow the guidelines listed below when providing services for an event.

General guidelines

  • After unloading, please park your vehicle in the gravel or grass lots to save the closest parking spots for guests. Please do not leave any vehicles onsite overnight.

  • We truly appreciate a prompt and efficient breakdown process. Our policy allows clients one hour for breakdown after the reception ends. Please be mindful of this timeframe, as exceeding it may result in additional charges to the client. We kindly ask that you help avoid this whenever possible.

  • An Event Coordinator will be present on an event day to assist with any venue related requests.

  • No nails, tacks, glue, or staples may be used on any surface.

  • No duct tape may be used on any surface. Only gaffing tape is permitted.

  • Glitter, confetti, sparklers or helium balloons are not permitted.

  • Please tag & credit @mustardseedgardens on social media posts.

DJs/Musicians

  • Booked couples are responsible to hire a licensed DJ, band or live musician to run sound for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception.

  • DJ & Musicians are responsible for setting up, maintaining, and breaking down their equipment.

  • The barn is equipped with an in-house PA system and built-in DJ booth — a soundboard, speakers & wireless microphone are available for use.

  • Please provide your own batteries and extension cords.

  • Please provide your own banquet table(s) for ceremony, cocktail hour and reception setup. The barn includes a built-in DJ booth.

  • Please do not use duct tape to secure cords to the floor. Only gaffing tape is permitted.

  • All outdoor music must end by 10 PM Sunday - Thursday and 11 PM on Friday & Saturday to comply with sound ordinances.

  • Outdoor electrical access is available in the gray power box behind the fireplace.

  • We truly appreciate a prompt and efficient breakdown process. Our policy allows clients one hour for breakdown after the reception ends. Please be mindful of this timeframe, as exceeding it may result in additional charges to the client. We kindly ask that you help avoid this whenever possible.

Planners & day-of coordinators

  • All planners & day-of coordinators are required to remain onsite for the duration of the event.

  • Planners & day-of coordinators are responsible for managing rehearsal practice and coordinating onsite ceremonies.

  • Planners & day-of coordinators are responsible for setting and removing personal decor.

  • A venue coordinator will be onsite for the duration of the event. The coordinator is there to serve you with any venue related questions or needs you may have (extension cords, adjusting ac/heat, extra table, wifi password, etc.)

  • Please confirm vendor arrival times with your client’s assigned venue coordinator and share the event timeline at your earliest convenience.

  • Please ensure all vendors are familiar with their specific venue guidelines.

FloristS

  • Please allot enough time to complete all floral installations one hour before the ceremony begins.

  • Ladders and carts are available upon request.

  • We require all candles to be in a hurricane vessel or cylinder. Any candles not in a hurricane vessel or cylinder cannot be lit.

  • Silk petals are not permitted. Any tossed petals must be real.

  • Please plan to return at the end of the night to remove all floral and rentals, unless cleared by the venue coordinator.
